Un chip ispirato al cervello sfida il freddo dei computer quantistici

Researchers at the University of Hong Kong have developed a neuromorphic chip that can function at temperatures near absolute zero, a condition critical for quantum computing. The team used a standard silicon carbide transistor in a new way to make a single device behave like an energy-efficient neuron, firing electrical spikes similar to those in the human brain.
