China's first self-developed marine engineering flexible intelligent welding robots put into use

China's first batch of self-developed marine engineering flexible intelligent welding robot systems were put into use in Tianjin, as announced by the Offshore Oil Engineering Co., Ltd. on June 14. The system was integrated in August last year and, after nearly 10 months of field testing and engineering verification, met all performance indicators for industrial use. It features 100% domestically produced core software and process libraries, a 20-year design life, and a maximum load capacity of 30 tons, designed for high-difficulty, customized heavy welding scenarios in offshore oil and gas platforms.
