Hanwha Aerospace launches safety committee after fatal explosion

Hanwha Aerospace has established an independent Safety Culture Innovation Committee following a fatal explosion at its Daejeon plant that killed five and injured two. The committee comprises 13 members, including 11 external experts and two union-recommended employees, chaired by Yonsei University professor emeritus Moon Il. The company also plans to invest 450 billion won in safety this year.
