Shin Dong-bin attends AI training, says AX is survival priority for Lotte Group

Lotte Group Chairman Shin Dong-bin personally participated in the 'CEO AI Academy' held on March 5-6, according to a company announcement on March 16. Since March 1, Lotte has been running weekend AI training for about 50 affiliate CEOs, focusing on changing executives' mindsets to drive AI transformation (AX). During the training, Shin created an AI service using 'vibe coding'—where AI generates code from natural language requests—and developed an AI agent. He then reviewed the group's AX strategy and discussed future directions, stating that 'AX is not an option but a top priority for the group's survival.'
