Who is Seren, Anya Taylor-Joy's character in The Hunt for Gollum?

Anya Taylor-Joy has joined the cast of The Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum, directed by and starring Andy Serkis. She will portray a brand-new character in the franchise that has not appeared in previous adaptations. The film is scheduled for release at the end of next year.
