Hyundai begins electric vehicle production in Turkey

Hyundai Motor Türkiye has announced plans to start mass production of the IONIQ 3 electric vehicle at its İzmit factory in August, supported by a new battery assembly plant. The total investment of 715 million euros includes 55 million euros allocated for the battery facility. The announcement came from Hyundai Turkey CEO Alex Kim, who confirmed the 830 million dollar investment plan for the IONIQ 3 model.
