FF7 Revelation's visionary is looking beyond a Final Fantasy 6 remake

Final Fantasy VII Revelation, the conclusion to the remake trilogy, is set to launch in spring 2027, three years after the second game, Rebirth. Director Naoki Hamaguchi attributed this faster development time to 95% of the team staying together. Hamaguchi has also indicated he is not interested in working on another remake after this project.
