Andreessen Horowitz opens Seoul office to support crypto, AI startups

Global venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) officially opened a Seoul office on February 15. The office is designed to support the firm's portfolio companies entering the Korean and Asian markets. A16z, which manages $100 billion in assets, selected Korea as a strategic hub in Asia, citing its competitiveness in AI, manufacturing, defense, crypto, content, and consumer goods. The office will initially focus on the crypto sector before expanding its scope.
