Meta is reportedly dismantling its $2 billion acquisition of Manus, a Chinese-founded AI startup, after Beijing demanded the deal be reversed, according to multiple reports. The company has cut Manus off from its internal systems and is sunsetting the platform. In response, Manus's founders are reportedly seeking $1 billion to buy back the company.
