AMD quietly launches Ryzen 7 4700LE, Ryzen 3 3100U, and more based on older architectures

AMD has quietly introduced several consumer processors based on older architectures, including the Ryzen 7 4700LE, Ryzen 3 3100U, and Ryzen 5 3501U. The Ryzen 7 4700LE, an OEM-only model released on March 25, 2026, is based on 7nm Renoir with 8 Zen 2 cores, a 65W TDP, a 4.2GHz boost clock, and no integrated graphics. The Ryzen 3 3100U and Ryzen 5 3501U, based on the Picasso Zen+ architecture, were released in Q2 2026; the Ryzen 3 3100U has 2 cores without SMT, while the Ryzen 5 3501U matches the 2019 Ryzen 5 3500U's 4 cores and Vega 8 GPU.
