Another 'Hualong One' Unit: Fujian Ningde Nuclear Power Unit 5 Dome Hoisted

On June 15 at 8:02 AM, the dome of CGN's Ningde Nuclear Power Unit 5 was successfully hoisted, marking the transition of this 'Hualong One' nuclear unit from civil construction to equipment installation. The dome, a hemispherical double-curved steel structure weighing over 270 tons and about 45 meters in diameter, was lifted by a large crawler crane under strict monitoring. This milestone lays a solid foundation for subsequent installation, commissioning, and grid connection.
