Naver Cloud unveils lightweight omnimodal AI model for defense

Naver Cloud introduced its lightweight omnimodal AI model 'HyperCLOVA X Seed 4B' at the 2026 Korea Military Science and Technology Conference held in Jeju from April 10-12. The model is optimized for defense environments and includes proprietary vision and audio encoders for real-time analysis of video, voice, and documents in edge computing settings such as drones and tactical vehicles. The company aims to expand AI transformation across all defense sectors by 2030.
